Pricing
All pricing information displayed on Cleanbill is the amount Cleanbill expects you to be charged for the stated service as an adult with a Medicare card and no concessions. Practices may deduct the Medicare rebate from your fee at the point of payment. Practices may also individually discount particular services for certain groups (e.g students, pensioners, concession card holders etc.). Cleanbill does not include information about any of these discounts on its listings. If you belong to one of these groups, Cleanbill recommends calling your chosen practice before making a booking to determine whether they can offer you discounted pricing.
Pricing Tags
Cleanbill organises all practices that provide a quote into one of seven pricing categories, based on the aggregate pricing statistics for their relevant Commonwealth Electoral Division:
1. Bulk Billing – means the practice does not charge an out-of-pocket fee for the listed service(s) if you show a Medicare card on attendance.
2. Way Below Average – means the practice charges a fee at least a full standard deviation below the average for the listed service(s), when compared with other practices in its area.
3. Below Average – means the practice charges a fee at least half a standard deviation below the average for the listed service(s), when compared with other practices in its area.
4. Average – means the practice charges a fee between half a standard deviation above and below the average for the listed service(s), when compared with other practices in its area.
5. Above Average – means the practice charges a fee at least half a standard deviation above the average for the listed service(s), when compared with other practices in its area.
6. Way Above Average – means the practice charges a fee at least a full standard deviation above the average for the listed service(s), when compared with other practices in its area.
7. No Quote Provided – means the practice either refused to provide a quote when contacted, has not been contactable during its listed business hours, or is not accepting new patients at this time.
Pricing Table
Every Cleanbill listing will contain a pricing table detailing the out-of-pocket cost associated with its key services. Pricing tables will contain either:
1. A dollar amount ($x) – for practices that have provided a quote when contacted.
2. No quote provided (NQP) – for practices that either refused to provide a quote when contacted or have not been contactable during their listed business hours.
3. No new patients (NNP) – for practices that are not currently taking on new patients.
4. Included (INC) – indicates that the service fee is included in the fee charged for another service outlined in the pricing table (dentists only).

Get Papped is a Brisbane-based health movement aimed at making a positive change on the uptake of cervical screenings nationally. Get Papped maintains a practitioner directory of clinics that their users have recommended for women’s health appointments. Clicking on the Get Papped logo on a clinic’s listing will take you to the Get Papped Practitioner Directory.
